Oxbridge Angels Asia is an exclusive angel network for Oxford and Cambridge alumni, connecting Oxbridge Angels with founders across Southeast, East and South Asia. Capital, expertise and a global alumni network, applied with institutional discipline.
Four principles, drawn from our crest, that govern every deal we bring to members
An alumni-only network of Oxford and Cambridge graduates, so every member, referral and introduction carries the same standard.
We back founders solving Asia’s structural problems at Angel to Pre-A, with a five-year view to growth-stage VCs, corporates and strategic buyers.
Deal-specific syndicates and SPVs, structured by local counsel for each jurisdiction, with IC memoranda prepared to institutional standards.
Accreditation and KYC/AML on every member, no pooled discretionary capital, and every investment decision left with the individual investor.
Legacy, prestige and tradition, applied to the ventures shaping Asia’s future

Asia contributes over half of global GDP growth and is home to 60% of the world’s population. Southeast Asia is the starting point: a digital economy of [US$130 billion] with 440 million-plus internet users and some of the fastest digital adoption anywhere.
The ecosystem is large but fragmented. Over 830,000 start-ups across Asia compete for capital, yet deal flow for angels remains scattered and informal, and founders struggle to find trusted early-stage investors who stay involved after the cheque clears. That gap is where a connected network creates value.

We back founders with three things: sizeable early capital to reach validation, hands-on expertise from alumni who have built and scaled companies, and a network that spans Asia’s VC ecosystem at partner level.
We invest from Angel to Pre-A, alongside credible institutional leads, with a five-year horizon to the growth-stage VCs, corporates and strategic buyers who take ventures to the next stage. We also open a pathway for Oxbridge research to reach the market, turning academic breakthroughs into commercially viable companies. Every investment decision rests with the individual member.
Institutional-grade asset curation for sophisticated allocators
Founders apply through the Oxbridge Portal and are screened for market potential and competitive position. Members refer companies from their own networks, adding proprietary, off-market opportunities across the region.
Every shortlisted company passes initial screening, deep-dive due diligence with founders, a brief memorandum covering risks, projections and structure, and an Investment Committee review before it is presented to members.
Members opt in deal by deal and invest through a deal-specific syndicate or SPV, structured by local counsel for the relevant jurisdiction. Portfolio progress is tracked in our CRM and reported to investors regularly.
Trusted by family office principals and tier-1 founders across the continent
Alexander RiosFounder & CEO “Finding credible, aligned start-ups used to take more time than evaluating them. The screening and IC memoranda give me deal flow I can act on, and the decision stays mine.”
Alexander MaxFounder & CEO “The capital got us to validation. The introductions to partner-level contacts at regional VCs got us to the Series A. That is what we could not have bought.”

Oxbridge Angels Asia is a private network for Oxford and Cambridge alumni and invited accredited investors. Applicants register through the Oxbridge Portal and complete an internal evaluation before admission. No prior angel experience is required; members commit to a passive or active role and to our code of conduct.
Founders: apply for funding through the Portal. Companies from within and outside the Oxbridge network are welcome. There is no fee to apply or to pitch.
All investor applicants complete identity verification (KYC/AML) and accreditation checks before receiving deal information. The network does not pool discretionary capital and does not provide personal investment advice; Investment Committee materials are prepared for members’ own evaluation. Nothing on this website is an offer or solicitation to invest. Early-stage investments are illiquid and carry a high risk of capital loss.
